chapter 11
I think that I would like to be superintendent. The reason being is because you would have the chance to work with a lot of people and would get to see how they help you run the school district. Being a superintendent I would make sure that every teacher is in an environment that they are comfortable to work in. Make sure that all teachers no matter what race, and gender will be able to work with each other. See also what we can do about making them feel comfortable during testing time. Make sure to have an open door policy to everyone, that for no one to be holding back on ideas, suggestions for the school. I think that it is important to be able to have an open door policy because with out their feedback I think we wouldn't be able to have schools.
What will have changed by the year 2020n in our schools. One that I think will change is probably no more teachers. we would probably have robots managing our classrooms. Another would be that everything will on computer no textbooks. Probably the state test will not be at existence, in which I hope that it will not be around. We will be using those Ipads to be doing our work and then turn in assignments. As for food will it would be kind of hard to have a robot cook the food, so I think that the ladies will probably still be there and just that they will have a quicker way to do things.

chapter 8 reflection
This chapter was very helpful especially that I work with the school district. In reading this chapter it explains what ethical means. In which it refers to a code or a system of morality. Also its good to keep in mind the six characteristics of ethical teaching.
Which are: appreciation, empathy knowledge, reasoning, courage and interpersonal skills.
When becoming a teacher we have to remember that we have to set a good personal example. In other words the way we teach, care and the way we treat students are what we as teachers need to remember at all times.
Also we need to be able to get the trust of the students and for them not to be afraid of us. They need to know that we are teachers plus a friend when they need to talk to us. Make them realize that it is safe in your class.
We also need to keep in mind those students that seem to be different from the others. In other words there may be student who is always alone or doesn't want to do certain things. For example one year we had a female student who would cry every morning and then would n't want to go to P.E., mind you that they were males. So we decided to talk to the counselor about the situation, and there was something going at the house. The rest I will not go on, but it was taken care of and we started to notice a change on her and her interacting more with the other students.

Think about your own education. At what grade level did you first encounter computers, CD-ROMs, computer games, or the Internet at school or in your classroom?
I think that it was back around my 10th or 11th grade not that sure. But I know that we had started right before I graduated. It was fun to get to use a computer. I remember that they showed us how to use it the right way. We also practice how to save a document and be able to print it out. the teacher that I had at the time was very nice and patient with us. Once we got the hang of it they would give us short essays to do so that we can practice typing and do certain assignments and print out when we were done. But if we look at it now they start in pre-k.

I guess I can say that in my previous course the instructor would assign a topic and in the topic were three sections and then would divide us into groups. each group had come with something that we needed to share with the class. It was fun when we work in groups because I think that we could brainstorm amongst ourselves and learn. Form I think that would be like cooperative learning. I think that teachers should use this matter in a classroom.

ch.3 reflection
Which area of Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences do you feel is your area of strength? Explain why, and give an example.
i believe that the interpersonal intelligence would be my strength. The reason being that when I need to get a project doen for example a bulletin for school I use technology to get information or ideas. i also sometimes teach another coworker how to put the bulletin paper and how to space out the pictures or drawings so that they do not look cluttered.
